Dear Local Business Owner/Manager,
As you probably know,
Yorba Linda High School only opened its doors in September of 2009 and all
involved have been working hard to making it the best it can be. We are fortunate to have a great school
district, however with budget cuts from the state, and a weak economy, programs
are being cut or they have to provide finances themselves. Golf is not only a lesser-funded sport, but
it is an expensive sport as it has to take place off-campus. We feel it is a very worthy sport, giving the
kids life lessons such as patience, ethics, diligence, problem solving skills
and is both a team sport and an individual sport which can be played for one’s
whole life.
The
Yorba Linda High School Men’s and Women’s Golf Team will be hosting our sixth
annual golf tournament fundraiser on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Black Gold Golf
Course, one of the two golf courses serving the team as a home course. We would like to invite you to play golf with
us on that day, as well as to donate a few items to help make our fundraiser a
